MAS is fully functional as an essential business. Our offices are not currently open to the public. However, we are adhering to the recommended social distancing guidelines and have created a safe working environment in our offices by initiating screening practices, moving office spaces further apart and requiring the use of masks at all times. We are also allowing employees to work from home. In addition, our field staff are able to use separate vehicles, have access to hand sanitizers, and are required to use masks at all times

How Did We Get Started

The founder of MAS had worked for a variety of environmental companies over the span of at least twenty years. In 2010, several of his clients met with him for lunch and suggested that he start his own firm. They offered their full support and believed in him based on years of working together. Since that time, MAS has grown from a small partnership to a thriving environmental company including professional engineers and engineers in training, professional geologists, environmental scientists, experienced field personnel, and administrative staff located in multiple Florida offices and two (2) out-of-state satellite offices.

As a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) approved Agency Term Contractor (ATC), MAS has performed thousands of site assessments, remedial action activities, treatment system operation and maintenance (O&M), natural attenuation monitoring (NAM) activities and site closures.  MAS has also been approved for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) status.
